It stopped worked 2 days after we received it. It keeps counting when a sajda hasn’t even been completed
I was really hoping this would work but I love the concept. The magnets works great even with my thick prayer mat. After several uses and charging it, I noticed that once I put it on it starts counting without even beginning to pray. I tried different ways but it just starts counting at 1, and continues from there till I finish praying. So it counts a number ahead, so if I'm to pray Fajr, by the time I'm done I see 3 on the device. If i pray Dhuhr i will see 5 etc. So keep that in mind when considering this item
I really like the concept of this rakat counter, but I really wish it was consistent. The construction of this is very well done. However, I think it is the sensors that get triggered at times without me even being in front of it, making the count inaccurate. Sometimes, it is the opposite where in when I perform the sujood, it just fails to register the count even though it is right in front of me. This could be misleading sometimes and cause more confusion.I think I just have to give it time and move it around to keep it in the right position so that it stops doing the above. But overall, a great concept and definitely useful.

By keeping it on the left of my Sajdah space, I can trust it to track my rakaat correctly for every prayer. Its compact size and rechargeable battery make it incredibly user-friendly and convenient. Turn/off and reset buttons work seamlessly, and automatic power-off features help save battery life.Charging with a USB-C port is easy, and magnetic attachment capability is a great touch to determine the simple space. This is necessary equipment for any Muslim who wants to keep an eye on their prayers.
This counter has about a 10-second delay from the time the infrared sensor detects motion to when it registers the count. For its intended use as a Rakaat Counter, this makes sense, since prayers often take longer and the built-in delay works well in that context. However, I had hoped to use it for mantra counting, where repetitions are much shorter. I tried triggering the sensor again before the light stopped blinking, but it doesn’t advance the count until after the full 10 seconds pass. That makes it less ideal for faster-paced practices.I do appreciate the magnetized backing—it keeps the device steady on my meditation mat—and the compact, rechargeable design is very convenient. The on/off and reset buttons are also simple and responsive.Overall, it’s a thoughtful product with a clear purpose. I just wish there were an option to override the 10-second delay, perhaps with a switch to enable or disable it, to make it more versatile for other types of spiritual practice.
